Electro Hussars – Terms and Conditions
1. Participation and Personal Responsibility
By registering for and participating in any Electro Hussars event, ride, race, competition, or gathering, you acknowledge and accept that all activities involving personal electric vehicles (including but not limited to Onewheels, e‑skateboards, EUCs, and similar devices) carry inherent risks.
You participate entirely at your own risk. You are fully responsible for your own safety, equipment, physical condition, and riding decisions at all times.
2. Liability and Safety Disclaimer
Electro Hussars is a small, volunteer-driven community initiative. While we aim to provide a safe and organized environment, including having support or first-aid/ambulance access in close proximity when possible, we cannot guarantee your safety or the safety of your equipment.
By participating, you agree that Electro Hussars, its organizers, volunteers, partners, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, losses, or other consequences arising from your participation.
3. Equipment Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your board, safety gear, and equipment are in safe working condition. You must wear appropriate protective gear as required by event guidelines.
4. Image, Media, and Data Consent
By registering for an event, you consent that:
- Your image, appearance, riding footage, and race participation may be photographed, filmed, or recorded.
- Your rider profile, including your name, nickname, nationality, board type, and board specifications, may be displayed on ElectroHussars.com and associated digital platforms.
- Electro Hussars may create digital and physical rider cards, sport cards, or collectible cards using your likeness, rider stats, and publicly shared information.
These materials may be used for promotional, archival, community, or commercial purposes related to Electro Hussars without additional compensation.
5. Rider Cards and Likeness Usage
You agree that Electro Hussars may design, publish, and distribute rider cards (digital or physical) featuring your likeness, riding stats, or related data. You waive any claims related to likeness usage for these purposes.
6. Event Conduct
Participants must:
- Follow all instructions from organizers and volunteers.
- Respect the rules of the track, event area, and any private or public property.
- Ride responsibly and avoid endangering themselves or others.
Electro Hussars reserves the right to deny participation or remove any rider whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive.
7. Registration and Data Use
By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. You also consent to Electro Hussars storing and displaying your rider data, stats, race results, and event participation history for community and ranking purposes.
8. Parental Consent for Minors
If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain parental or guardian consent before registering as a rider with Electro Hussars.
By registering, you acknowledge that:
- If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved your participation in Electro Hussars activities.
- Electro Hussars may request a scanned copy of a parental consent form (a document signed by your parent or guardian with their identification information, confirming they allow you to participate) after your registration.
- You may be contacted via email to provide this parental consent documentation before you can participate in events.
- Your registration may be suspended or cancelled if valid parental consent is not provided when requested.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for any event or participating in any activity organized by Electro Hussars, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
